Tax Comm, filing dates
Amends existing law relating to income taxes to specify filing dates for certain information returns and to authorize the State Tax Commission to provide a different date no earlier than the date required by the Internal Revenue Code for filing equivalent federal returns in a nonelectronic format. Passed the House of Representatives 66-0-0 on January 25, 2010 and the Senate 34-0-1 on February 15, 2010. Signed by the Governor on February 23, 2010.

Disposition of remains
 Amends existing law relating to disposition of remains to provide that in the absence of a prearranged funeral plan or certain provisions in such plan, that disposition of the remains of a decedent may vest in the person designated by the decedent in a DD Form 93, if the decedent died while serving in military service in any branch of the United States Armed Forces, United States Reserve Forces or National Guard. Passed the House of Representatives 66-0-4 on March 1, 2010 and passed the Senate 34-0-1 on February 16, 2010 and signed by the Governor on March 9, 2010.

Producer licensing, bail agents
  Adds to and amends existing law relating to producer licensing to revise requirements and authority relating to the licensing of bail agents; to provide notice requirements; to clarify the Department of Insurance's responsibility relating to a surety performance bond; to provide a procedure to stay a certain obligation, to grant the administrative district judge authority to order the sheriffs and clerks of certain counties not to accept the posting of new bail bonds from certain surety insurance companies; and to provide a process and requirements for addressing a potential suspension of a bail agent's license. Passed the House of Representatives 65-1-4 on March 15, 2010 and passed the Senate 34-01- on March 2, 2010 and was signed by the Governor on March 25, 2010.

 Amends existing law relating to counties to provide that challenges to proceedings and jurisdictional steps preceding orders relating to the creation, establishment, disestablishment, dissolution or modification of certain districts shall not be heard or considered following the lapse of a specified period of time. Passed the House of Representatives February 23, 2009, 64-1-0, passed the Senate on March 16, 2009 34-0-1 and was signed by the Governor on March 23, 2009.

Motor Fuels Tax - ElectronicL Submission
 Amends existing law to require from the taxpayer electronic submission of motor fuels tax and income tax information above a certain volume of activity. Passed the House of Representatives on January 29, 2009, 67-2-0 and passed the Senate on February 11, 2009, 35-0-0 and was signed by the Governor on February 18, 2009.

Floating Homes
 Amends existing law relating to floating homes to revise the definition of "floating home." Passed the House of Representatives February 25, 2009, 68-2-0 and was amendend in the Senate March 27, 2009, 33-0-2. Passed the House of REpresentaties on April 3, 2009, 62-0-8 and was signed by the Governor on April 14, 2009.
