Went to a confernece committee and the final vote House of Representatives 65-0-5 and the Senate 35-0, and was signed by the Governor on April 3, 2008.

Passed the House of Representatives 50-18-0 on March 27, 2008, passed the Senate 29-4-2 on April 1, 2008 and was signed by the Governor on April 15, 2008.

Child Abuse
Amends existing law relating to child abuse to provide a cause of action against an employer; to provide for a statute of limitations for discovery of an act, abuse or exploitation and its causal relationship to an injury or condition; to allow for computation of the date of discovery from the last act of a series of continuing acts, abuse or exploitation by the same perpetrator which is part of a common scheme or plan; and to provide that the knowledge of a custodial parent or guardian shall not be imputed to a child under the age of eighteen years. Passed the House 60-7-3 on February 26, 2007 and passed the Senate 35-0 on March 14, 2007. Signed by the Governor March 21, 2007.
